Public Hearing at PAC- Lincoln High School

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City of Wisconsin Rapids Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, October 5th, 2026, at 6:00 PM, within the Performing Arts Center at Lincoln High School, 1801 16th Street South, Wisconsin Rapids. Participation at the public hearing is encouraged. The public can also submit comments prior to the hearing by contacting the Community Development Department at 715-421-8228 or CommunityDevelopment@wirapids.gov. The following items will be heard and possibly acted on:

• Public hearing and consideration of approval of a temporary development moratorium on the consideration and/or issuance related to requests for rezoning, plats, certified survey maps, and other land divisions that would enable data center development in order to allow the City to amend sections of Chapter 11 of the Revised Municipal Code of the City of Wisconsin Rapids pertaining to Data Centers located within the City of Wisconsin Rapids’ municipal boundaries, due to the need to address the potential significant threats to public health or safety. The development moratorium could be in effect for up to 12 months.
